A Psycho-Education programme presented by MRCC that is suitable for those considering accessing counselling to resolve the experience of HCildhood Sexual Abuse. It is also suitable for those currently in cousnelling, who wish to know more about the impact of the Trauma of Childhood Sexual Abuse. The bulk of the ocurse will be based on Healing Tasks Methodology by James Kepner. This is a training group not a THERAPY group.

Over four session of three hours each we will look at:

The basic healing process for an adult survivor of Childhood Sexual Abuse - The effects and impacts of the Trauma oc Childhood Sexual Abuse - Look at how we may have personally been affected developmentally by what happened to us - Getting the most out of the coubnselling process, Do I need counselling thereapy? Am I using it as well as I could be? - Look at where you are in your own healing process. Auditing my own progress - Recognize your own strneghts, creativity and growth as a survivor of Sexual abuse - Do I need supports?

This course will help you decided if you want to access counselling or theraphy. It will help you get the most out of any counselling or theraphy you are currently accessing and it will educate you with regardd to your own process and progress. Participants will NOT be sharing their story.
